You think  shopping for a nice red wine is easy? Nope it is not.. well according to me it isn’t! Decisions, decisions, walking down an aisle in your favorite liquor store and you see like hundreds of brands.. ok maybe not hundreds but a whole lot. It’s basically impossible to know which ones are worth your time just by looking at them. You can usually guess that an expensive bottle will be at least kind of good, but not everyone has the means to drop a lot of dough every time they want a sip of a nice red.

You should not have to break your wallet to get your “sip on”. Here is a list of  some amazing brands under $20.


1. Reata Three County Pinot Noir


  • Central Coast, California

  • Black cherry and pomegranate notes with a medium to full bodied taste. Vanilla aroma with a deep ruby color. A delectable cheap red wine for any occasion.

Need something to eat that is  low carb and super deelish? Try this delicious egg muffin recipe. I make these very often. This quick grab and go meal will save you time and money. No need to buy fast food breakfast,. I use a variety of fillings…. spinach, tomato, bacon cheddar, mushroom, peppers.. you can add whatever you like. These mini frittatas, can be cooked ahead of time and refrigerated for when you need them to grab and go!

Pack them into airtight containers and keep them in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Make a batch in advance and then heat them up in the microwave (usually 10-15 seconds in enough) when you’re ready to eat!


  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. …
  2. Crack the eggs into a large bowl. …
  3. Add the spinach, bacon and cheese or whatever fillings that you choose to the egg mixture and stir to combine.
  4. Use PAM cooking spray to coat the muffin cup pan. Divide the egg mixture evenly among the muffin cups.
  5. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until eggs are set.
  6. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator until ready to eat.

Apple Cider Mimosas

Apple Cider Mimosas


1 bottle champagne

1 cup apple cider

2 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp ground cinnamon


On a small plate, combine sugar and cinnamon. Dip champagne flutes in water to wet the rims, then dip in cinnamon sugar mixture. Fill champagne flutes 1/4 full with apple cider, then top off with champagne.

Whiskey Sour


1.5 oz Bulleit Bourbon

1 tsp lemon juice

.5 tsp sugar

Orange slice

Maraschino cherry


Add bourbon, lemon juice, and sugar to cocktail shaker. Shake with ice and strain into chilled rocks glass. Garnish with orange slice and maraschino cherry.


Thyme Will Tell



2 oz bourbon

.5 oz maple syrup

.5 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice



Muddle thyme then combine ingredients and serve on the rocks. Garnish with a lemon peel.


Maple Bourbon Old-Fashioned



2 oz bourbon

2 tsp maple syrup

1 tsp water

1 dash bitters

1 orange peel

1 maraschino cherry


Combine maple syrup, water and bitters in a glass, stirring until well blended. Add a few blocks of ice and the orange peel, then pour bourbon on top. Garnish with a cherry and serve.

The Harvest


1.5 oz cognac

.5 oz cinnamon syrup

1 large spoonful of apple butter or apple syrup


Shake ingredients before pouring into a sophisticated coupe glass. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.


Caramel Apple Mule


1.5 oz Absolut vodka

.5 oz caramel syrup

1 oz apple cider


Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain into a wooden mug over ice, top with ginger beer. Garnish with apple fan.


Boodles + Tonic of Arabia



1 oz Boodles Gin

2 oz tonic water

Date for garnish


Add ingredients into a glass and stir. Garnish with date and serve.
